Minimum 4th class ABSA Power Engineering certification
Trade certificate such as Plumbing, Mechanical, HVAC, Millwright, Electrical etc.
Strong knowledge of safety practices and working in industrial applications
Working in a team environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills that enhance promoting good customer relations, discussing problems, making recommendations, and preparing required reports
Independent worker and a self-starter with a hands-on focus
Computer proficiency - Computerized Maintenance Management System - QFM.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
You will support the Team by understanding priorities and safety requirements
Respond to all calls promptly, which includes being on-call on a rotating basis
Be able to solve major problems, either mechanical, technical, or customer relations.
Maintain all service tools and equipment in good working condition and arrange for repair or replacement
Perform risk assessments for any jobs
Local travel to different sites; a company vehicle is provided
